As of February 8, 2008, G-Unit Clothing is considered officially shut down. The G-Unit Clothing Company was established in 2003 when 50 Cent teamed up with Marc Ecko, the founder of Ecko Unlimited to create a line of clothing and accessories inspired by 50 Cent himself and fellow members of G-Unit.
Due to a failed partnership between 50 and Ecko, the employees of G-Unit clothing were let go and the company closed up shop.
Fortunately for 50 Cent he will be walking away with full ownership of the company, which grossed $75 million in revenue last year. With 50 Cents keen business sense it will only be a matter of time before G-Unit clothing is re-launched and back on top.
