Many may remember Alexis Phifer as Kanye West ex-woman, yet this amazing woman and designer has been on the scene before her relationship with West was in the spot light.

Alexis Phifer launched her clothing line, Ghita in 2005. Ghita translates to "pearl of the sea".

A Ghita dress is one pearl that should be added to every womans collection of jewels.

Alexis recently hosted an event to showcase her line which was themed "If Looks Could Kill". The event was sponsored by Toyota and Essence.
